Welcome to Wildwood Haus! This exquisite architectural cabin, situated on the prestigious North Shore near Tavern Bay in Lake Arrowhead, is the epitome of a design-minded retreat. Accommodating up to six guests, our chalet boasts a fully-equipped kitchen, expansive decks with stunning views, and wood-beamed vaulted ceilings. Enjoy evenings by the firepit or indulge in the luxury of our high-end linens and furnishings. Entertainment is at your fingertips with our Sonos surround system, an eclectic collection of over 60 vinyl records, and a sumptuous Restoration Hardware Cloud couch. Our kitchen is ready for any culinary adventure, stocked with every spice and tool you might need, alongside provisions for those traveling with children. **Lake Access** As property owners within ALA, we are able to extend our access to the highly sought after Lake Arrowhead. Utility Room: Find a high-efficiency washer and dryer complete with detergent pods for convenience. Bedrooms: Each of our three bedrooms offers unique comforts, from direct deck access with french doors and West Elm bedding to mountain views and privacy. The main loft bedroom upstairs includes a desk and high-speed Wi-Fi and balcony, perfect for work or relaxation. Additionally, the upstairs bedroom has double doors that close off the bedroom entirely giving you total privacy from activity taking place downstairs. Bathrooms: Two bathrooms feature dual sinks, showers and tubs, with one offering a jet spa tub. You'll find a step stool for the little ones as well as Honest Co baby products under the sink for your convenience. Backyard: The backyard offers a large gently sloped yard with oak trees and pines, great for sledding in the winter or enjoying Spring/Summer evenings! This area includes a private deck with a propane fire pit and rustic seating - perfect for campfire stories, s'mores and hot cocoa or a relaxing evening drinking wine or cocktails. (We have plenty of glassware and tools for cocktail making!) Safety Features: Wildwood Haus prioritizes your safety. We ensure all smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are regularly tested and functional, with fire extinguishers accessible on every floor. For minor mishaps, a first aid kit is available, and for more significant emergencies, you'll find an emergency Judy evacuation backpack, equipped to support four people for five days, in the hall closet. Additionally, flashlights and headlamps are conveniently located in the kitchen's utility drawer. Security: Your peace of mind is paramount. Our residence is outfitted with an ADT alarm system that monitors doors and windows, audibly alerting you whenever they're opened. Should you desire, a security code for the alarm system is available upon request. Please note that for security verification, we have external cameras installed; however, these are not actively monitored but may be reviewed for snow conditions or in the event of an incident. Rest assured, only homeowners have access to the camera feeds and alarm system, as your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. Neighbor Courtesy: Our full-time neighbors are valued friends of Wildwood Haus. We kindly ask you to maintain considerate noise levels, particularly outdoors, to avoid disturbances, especially after 10 pm when quiet hours commence. House Rules: - Pets: We maintain a strict no-pet policy due to personal medical considerations. Airbnb Support has approved our home as a NO animal home. - Cleanliness: While we strive to offer an impeccable stay, an additional cleaning fee will be charged if the property is left in a state that exceeds normal usage. - Capacity: Our home comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. - Respect for Property: The items within our home have been selected with care. Our maximum occupancy is 6 people at all times. Children under 2 are not included in our guest count. >>Only the guest(s) that booked the reservation are entitled to access to the property and Lake & Trails. No 3rd party bookings, booking on behalf of friends or family permitted. In the event that guest provides false identity or misinformation upon booking, we reserve the right to cancel reservation and disable door codes and report you to Airbnb and/or authorities. >>Please mind check-in (after 3pm) and check-out (10am) times as our cleaning staff do work around these times. >>Quiet hours are 10pm - 7am. Please keep voices and music down during these hours. We are friendly with our neighbors who are full-time residents, and our respect for their peace is of utmost importance. >>Three parking spaces are available in the driveway (but it's a tight squeeze). No additional vehicles are allowed to park on the property. No street parking is permitted, as you may get a ticket or towed. Park on the street at your own risk. >>Flame candles and smoking are not permitted inside or outside Wildwood Haus. We have battery-operated candles for your use if you would like to use them for ambiance. >>The fire pit on the back deck runs on propane ONLY and propane is not provided by the owner. A tank is available for your use. Do not place any paper, pine needles or other flammables into the firepit. Do not add lighter fluid or use matches to start. Please use the propane and knob on the side of the fire pit. Call us if you need assistance and we would be happy to help! - The propane tank on the property can be re-filled at most gas stations. Some guests do leave a half-full tank behind. Additional information about propane tanks and our fire pit usage can be found in our guide book. >>The fireplace is a gas fireplace. Please use caution. It is guests responsibility to obtain your own firewood. Where to buy firewood is available in our guide book. **Local Short Term Rental Laws to adhere to** Occupancy - Exceeding the occupancy limit could result in expulsion from the rental, fines, or both. The approved number of people allowed in the unit can be found on the information posted inside the unit. (We allow 6 guests) Prohibited Use - Short-term rentals may not be used for commercial purposes, such as filming, photoshoots, sponsored social media posts, media outlets, workshops, corporate retreats, conferences, special events, parties or wedding receptions unless a special pre-approved contract, liability waivers, additional fees to be discussed with owners prior to booking. Unique among mountain cabins, our home features both heating and air conditioning, granting you the luxury of climate control for optimal comfort, regardless of the season. Here, your vacation is sheltered from the whims of the weather, leaving you free to indulge in uninterrupted mountain tranquility.

Driveway Parking: Kindly be aware that our driveway is notably steep, and we advise caution when entering and exiting, especially for those unaccustomed to utilizing their parking brake or driving in adverse weather conditions. During Snowy Conditions: We recommend parking in the driveway or you may opt for garage access during snow stays for a nominal additional fee. This ensures that snow plows can efficiently clear the street and the area around our home. Please exercise extreme caution during icy conditions. We advise the use of 4x4 vehicles or tire chains to prevent sliding and recommend engaging your vehicle's emergency brake when parked. For your convenience, we offer additional snow plowing and shoveling services upon request during your stay for additional fees. Please feel free to inquire about these services or check them in our guide after booking.

To maximize your Lake Arrowhead experience, we recommend having a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle during the winter months. It's wise to keep chains in your car in case of snowstorms. Summer invites you to embrace the outdoors—take to the waters with Mackenzie's Water Ski School, or meander around the scenic Lake Arrowhead Village. Sky Park at Santa's Village offers a variety of outdoor activities, food, and drinks. For a serene day, pack a picnic and head to MacKay Park with its picturesque lake views, or explore the lush Dogwood trails. For aquatic adventures, consider half-day trips to Lake Gregory or Green Valley Lake—perfect spots for swimming or fishing. Come winter, our home is a convenient half-hour drive from Snow Valley Ski Resort, close to the Snowdrift Tubing Park, and a mere 10 minutes from prime sledding spots (with sleds provided by us!). If you're up for a little travel, Bear Mountain Ski Resort in Big Bear Lake is just an hour away. Enjoy the thrill of the slopes or the joy of a simple sled ride, all easily accessible from our location.
