Pets must be housebroken and never left unattended in the property. Please no wet dogs on furniture. (We do not have leashes or bowls for pets in the property. Please bring your own.) >>Only the exact number of guests listed on the reservation are allowed in the home. Our maximum occupancy is 6 people at all times. Children under 2 are not included in our guest count. >>Only the guest(s) that booked the reservation are entitled to access to the property and Lake & Trails. No 3rd party bookings, booking on behalf of friends or family permitted. In the event that guest provides false identity or misinformation upon booking, we reserve the right to cancel reservation and disable door codes and report you to Airbnb and/or authorities. >>Please mind check-in (after 3pm) and check-out (10am) times as our cleaning staff do work around these times. >>Quiet hours are 10pm - 7am. Please keep voices and music down during these hours. We are friendly with our neighbors who are full-time residents, and our respect for their peace is of utmost importance. >>Three parking spaces are available in the driveway (but it's a tight squeeze). No additional vehicles are allowed to park on the property. No street parking is permitted, as you may get a ticket or towed. Park on the street at your own risk. >>Flame candles and smoking are not permitted inside or outside Wildwood Haus. We have battery-operated candles for your use if you would like to use them for ambiance. >>The fire pit on the back deck runs on propane ONLY and propane is not provided by the owner. A tank is available for your use. Do not place any paper, pine needles or other flammables into the firepit. Do not add lighter fluid or use matches to start. Please use the propane and knob on the side of the fire pit. Call us if you need assistance and we would be happy to help! - The propane tank on the property can be re-filled at most gas stations. Some guests do leave a half-full tank behind. Additional information about propane tanks and our fire pit usage can be found in our guide book. >>The fireplace is a gas fireplace. Please use caution. It is guests responsibility to obtain your own firewood. Where to buy firewood is available in our guide book. **Local Short Term Rental Laws to adhere to** Occupancy - Exceeding the occupancy limit could result in expulsion from the rental, fines, or both. The approved number of people allowed in the unit can be found on the information posted inside the unit. (We allow 6 guests) Prohibited Use - Short-term rentals may not be used for commercial purposes, such as filming, photoshoots, sponsored social media posts, media outlets, workshops, corporate retreats, conferences, special events, parties or wedding receptions unless a special pre-approved contract, liability waivers, additional fees to be discussed with owners prior to booking. There is a $10,000.00 fine for violating this rule, payable to owner.

Driveway Parking: Kindly be aware that our driveway is notably steep, and we advise caution when entering and exiting, especially for those unaccustomed to utilizing their parking brake, driving in steep inclines or driving in adverse weather conditions. During Snowy Conditions: We recommend parking in the driveway or you may opt for garage access during snow stays for a nominal additional fee. This ensures that snow plows can efficiently clear the street and the area around our home. Please exercise extreme caution during icy conditions. We advise the use of 4x4 vehicles or tire chains to prevent sliding and recommend engaging your vehicle's emergency brake when parked. For your convenience, we offer additional snow plowing and shoveling services upon request during your stay for additional fees.
